Chia Pudding

A huge part of achieving great results is getting some productive time in the kitchen! Those who surround themselves with fast, delicious food are the ones who achieve body confidence for life!

Chia seeds are an amazing source of omega 3 fatty acids and 1 tbs packs about 5.4 grams of fibre. Remember that getting more mono and polyunsaturated fats (omega 3’s & 6’s) in your diet will regulate energy production, immune function and recovery from exercise! If you want fat loss, these bad boys need to be regularly consumed.

Prepare this one the night before if you remember. Makes a great snack for morning or afternoon tea or a desert after dinner.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of chia seeds

1 scoop vanilla protein

2 tablespoons natural yoghurt

2 tablespoons water

3 strawberries diced

 

Method:

Put all the ingredients into a container and stir so that all ingredients are mixed well. Leave for an hour (or overnight if you have time) so that chia seeds turn to gel. I leave it in the fridge overnight.

 

Tip – Sometimes I add a teaspoon of cacao to this to make it chocolate flavoured – or if you will be eating it within the metabolic window, add some mashed banana instead of berries J
