Every training community needs people like Sam Mundy! The inspirational individuals who lead the way with a humble attitude and a transformed body. Sam’s results are amazing but what makes her exceptional is that she made the positive lifestyle changes necessary to ensure that she will maintain her new lean and strong body for the rest of her life! We caught up with Sam to chat about what is takes to be a Super Mum!
So Sam, tell us a little about yourself?
Well… I am a mother of two girls, 15 & 13 Sophie and Kaitlyn. I work as a paraplaner, which means writing financial plans for advisers. I love training and love being a member of this community!
How long have you been a member at the Shake UP?
I joined the Shake UP back in July 2014 after winner the Shake UP transformation challenge.
Ok cool…Can you tell us a little bit about the period of your life?
Yeah I was working pretty hard at the gym and thought I was eating well but really struggled to get weight or fat off of my hip area. Over those 10 weeks of the Shake UP Nutritional Challenge, I learnt how to structure my eating so that I could still enjoy the foods I loved and see changes. I had your words running around my head saying, “get the booze and nuts out of your diet for just 10 weeks”! I did and saw some pretty amazing changes. I lost 6kg’s, stripped 4% and 32cms of body fat off of my body.
What are your current health and fitness goals?
Well I really enjoyed this summer because I was able to walk along the beach or go to Wet & Wild in my bikini and feel amazing in my new body. I love that I no longer feel self-conscious of my body! My goals are really to continue to inspire my girls to enjoy exercise and eat properly.
What keeps you coming back to TSU?
I love the fact that I never know what is coming next! Every session is very different and always very challenging!
Ball Slams! They are just so hard!
Sam loves the Zarraffa’s Coffee experience and will certainly put the very generous $50.00 voucher to good use! The Shaker of the Month is very kindly supported by Jimmy and Dette at Zarraffas Pacific Pines. Your support is always very much appreciated guys.
